Kenan provided support to Nathan Associates on their food security project, MARKET (Maximizing Agricultural Revenues through Knowledge, Enterprise Development and Trade Support) for ASEAN.

The project worked with business and farmer organizations, governments, research institutions, and non-governmental organizations to adopt better aquaculture production practices and fisheries management. An important part of the project included identifying gender roles, barriers, and opportunities in the aquaculture sector, and develop gender-sensitive activities.
