Jan 26,2023

asian women workersLeveraging our existing program and resources from key partners, Kenan will use a virtual platform to deliver capacity building in enabling women entrepreneurs to enhance digital marketing and financial management skills, improve gender-specific business skills, and increase access to financing resources for their businesses. Ultimately, the program will integrate financial literacy and broader business skills to help women business owners meet lending criteria and plan investments in order to better manage their business in a changing environment.

Kenan will conduct virtual training on basic digital marketing, business finance, and gender-specific skills to 350 women-led small businesses across three primary target groups, who are affected by COVID-19, including women who lost their jobs in hospitality or tourism, recent female graduates from vocational colleges who are unable to find employment, and women entrepreneurs who have struggled with their business and require skills expansion in marketing and financial management.

Through the project, Kenan will increase business marketing and financial literacy, financial management, and business development practices of 350 women-led small businesses. Throughout the project, women-led small businesses will expand their business and improve their business marketing strategies. Finally, women-led small businesses will develop a plan to access a business loan or other financing services.
