Role Description

Kenan Foundation Asia, a non-profit development organization working in partnership with companies, governments, academia, and committed individuals to empower people with the knowledge, technology, and skills necessary for a better future, is seeking a senior professional for the position of Consultant/Senior Consultant (Research). This position is responsible for the full cycle of project management with developing proposal, managing projects, conducting research and analysis, writing the project report and developing positive stakeholder relations to ensure successful of the project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead project and provide technical input into the design and implementation of project activities. This includes activity design and implementation, identification of skills development needs and priorities, development and implementation of annual plans, and identification of additional technical specialists as needed.
  • Manage budget to ensure balancing of optimization of budget use and impactful program

Stakeholder management

  • Engage stakeholder developing insight into donor context and defining their needs to ensure positive relationships and retention

Manage team’s performance

  • Ensure of team’s performance toward project and live up to Kenan’s value e.g. team communicate, coach staffs, conduct performance review, hiring process, etc

Business development/Brand Development

  • Lead or take part of proposal development by conduct searching and provide quality information that meet all aspects of the requirements
  • Brand ambassador. Represent to key stakeholders and sharing knowledge in areas of expert


  • Ph.D. or Master in a relevant field with Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Management or Economics.
  • Strong in qualitative research and English writing skill
  • Having 5-10 years of experiences in relevant field
  • Background in the project management is also required
  • Good interpersonal skills and good teamwork
  • Excellent in English writing
