Communications Specialist.

Kenan Foundation Asia is a non-profit development organization working in partnership with companies, governments, academia, and committed individuals to empower people with the knowledge, technology, and skills necessary for a better future. Kenan is seeking for the position of Communications Specialist to develop the proper content to promote organization’s profile across media channel and build Kenan’s digital marketplace reputation. The Communications Specialist will report to the Communications Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Kenan brand building

  • Formulating the plan and managing communications programs to align with the organization’s strategies and goals
  • Promoting and executing of all communications and media actions on all channels
  • Assist marketing manager for communications plan support always-on and campaign based marketing activities
  • Develop media relationship and network across platform
  • Identify market trends and insights to optimize existing communication media for better engagement metrics
  • Support marketing manager as a brand custodian to ensure every communication is according to brand guideline

Content Management

  • Lead execution of strategic contents for Marketing / Communications campaigns
  • Creating content plans and persuasive marketing copies based on analysis of audience and media channels and to promote the program & services
  • Proofreading and support project team in producing articles and blogs as well as aligning with brand positioning
  • Supporting the design of content, e.g. using infographic, illustration and right media
  • Proofread, edit, and Thai translate the content provided for all marketing publication and material

Assist in Projects Communication

  • Leading and supporting communication plan and execution of Kenan’s projects


  • At least 3 years of direct experience working in Marketing, Content writing or related.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Arts, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Business Administration
  • Native Thai speaker with outstanding English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Basic marketing and media landscape
  • Social media platform management
  • Able to write and create storytelling in Thai and English (business writing a plus)
  • Content planning/mapping
  • Good analytical skills, especially data analysis as it relates to social media.
  • Digital Content marketing or journalism is a plus
  • Graphic Design knowledge is an advantage
