Welcome speech: project summary to prepare for healthy aging

The Pfizer Healthy Aging Society project has become a leading knowledge-based project in this area. A total of 181 participants completed the training in Bangkok and Ubon Ratchathani, some have expanded the work into their communities and created 27 development projects to promote behavior change to at least 5,000 residents. Leading experts in Thailand supported in publishing 2,000 handbooks to promote good practices for healthy aging. Policy recommendations were made based on the data collected through interviews with thought leaders in the public and private sectors as well as civil society and academic organizations.
