NextGen Aging – Shaping a Smart Future for an Aging Society

Jan 26,2023

Kenan Foundation Asia, in collaboration with the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business and the Gillings School of Global Public Health, are co-organizing the ‘NextGen Aging – Shaping a Smart Future for an Aging Society’ conference on November 7, 2018 at Dusit Thani Hotel.

NextGen Aging brings together experts from the United States, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan who are at the forefront of aging and technology to share cutting-edge research and innovations that are transforming how we age.

It’s no secret that countries around the world are aging at a pace never seen before. With so much change, societies face new challenges in a range of areas, from healthcare to financial services and housing. At the same time, we’re in the middle of one of the greatest technological revolutions in history.

The program has been designed around four interconnected themes; national policy and the response to a hyper-aging society, global trends in aging and Thailand’s current position, along with views on the economic landscape, infrastructure and silvertech from our expert panel. Regional partners will present and share the finding from cases and models from the US, Japan, Singapore and Thailand.
