Kenan Institute Asia fights the spread of infectious diseases by strengthening public health systems and by providing communities with the tools to protect themselves. Kenan has extensive experience working with public and private sector partners on the eradication and control of infectious diseases like malaria and avian and pandemic influenza. Building on this work, Kenan has developed models of behavior change for stopping the spread of infectious diseases and preventing lifestyle diseases with a particular emphasis on school-based behavior change communication programming.
